Richard Marsland – Nice Crackle

Today is the one year anniversary celebration of Australian Comedian/writer/button pusher Richard Marsland‘s life.

Marsland was a writer and performer who worked on Rove Live, Shaun Micallef‘s Newstopia, and reached cult status on former radio show Get This when Host Comedian Tony Martin allowed Richard to panel the show, then later contributed heavily to sketches and various content.

Marsland was found dead in his car at the bottom of Ship Rock Falls, Victoria, on this date in 2008. There was no suspicious circumstances.

Here’s some rare footage of how hilarious and spontaneous Richard was.

Here is Marsland at his best – impersonating Bob Dylan.

Do yourself a favour – drink a Farmer’s Union Iced Coffee in his honour.

Miss ya, Rich.
