The 13th Doctor Who Revealed

The time has come to pass the sonic screwdriver on.

We’ve come a long way since 1963.

From the very First Doctor played by William Hartnell, to current 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi, all Doctors have ranged from age and attitude. But now, BBC’s Doctor Who is up for the latest incarnation for the 13th Doctor – and a gender change.

British actor Jodie Whittaker has stepped up to take the ranks of the world’s most popular Doctor, becoming the first female Doctor in the series. Whittaker is no ‘nobody’, with an extensive CV covering television, film and stage.

The transition from Capaldi to Whittaker will happen during the 2017 Christmas Special.

Anyway, that’s it really. In what’s been a male-dominating role, it’s about time they mixed it up a little.

Here’s some thinking music while you adjust yourselves to the new Doctor.
