David Letterman heads to Netflix

The retired king of late night television is coming back to your television screens… and mobile… and computers… 

David Letterman, former host of CBS’ The Late Show with David Letterman is returning to television for a new series for Netflix.

Currently unnamed, a six episode series will be developed with Letterman having in-depth conversations with a singular guest per episode, exploring various topics of his own accord.

Said Letterman, “I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix. Here’s what I have learned, if you retire to spend more time with your family, check with your family first. Thanks for watching, drive safely.”

The project is being produced by RadicalMedia, the Academy Award® and Emmy-winning company behind Netflix’s What Happened, Miss Simone?Oh Hello on Broadwayand Abstract: The Art of Design, and Letterman’s Worldwide Pants.

The new Letterman series will premiere 2018, on Netflix.
